Our first program is a Post Graduate Certificate in Diabetic Foot (Post GradCert DBF) This program is specifically designed to train existing medical practitioners about assessing, diagnosing, treating and managing diabetic foot at the various stages in its cycle. This is a complex, multidisciplinary ,multiphase pathology, that is not covered to sufficient depth in traditional medical training. This practical course ensures that a good level of competence to understand and appreciate this pathology can be built on existing medical training.
At ICPM, planned programs will give students the understanding and tools to treat a variety of lower leg disorders, including diabetic foot conditions.
Our preventative approach means graduate podiatrists will be able to educate, treat and advise patients on how to manage their symptoms, helping to avoid chronic and terminal outcomes.
